in other news, Chud the builder is going to jail for the rest of his life if he doesn't drop his dime store attorney he currently has and get somebody halfway decent. They're looking to nail his ass to a cross.

16Seems fair. π
what sort of chance does he have in appeal? I honestly can't see how this isn't clear self defense.
The problem is appellate courts don't typically review factually findings, just legal errors. That's why he has to fight here. He need to take leave for interlocutory appeal and the appeal on the gag order.
Do it, Hump. Represent him.

Know anyone good who is?
Also, I think he might be acquainted with Chud and doing it pro bono.
Oh fuck. He's fucked. Divorce lawyers are the bottom of the barrel. At least get a guy who does civil lit if you can't find a good criminal attorney.
supposedly the prosecution showed surveillance video that showed chud walking away from the guy before he was attacked but this hasn't been released to the public. I guess no cameras were allowed in the courtroom at that time.
This only makes me more concerned. Judge sees video, knows what it shows, knows the media is against chud, gags everyone.
trying to legislate that hurty words constitutes violence, even if those hurty words weren't direct at you.
>Well you shouldn't have called him a faggot, son.
Not a real thing.
They want to do indirectly what they can't directly, by increasing the cost of using the words.
Have been doing for a while, reallyβ¦
Procedure is the punishment

4Everybody's very pleased with their "untouchable" "demi-god" status, until the moment a drone flies up and grabs them around the neck in it's claws, and starts playing a voice recording saying attempts to tamper will result in detonation and 1mn$ monero transaction must be made within 4 hours...
There's no part of it that is actually HARD, technologically speaking.
You don't need radio to run down a person, just a camera and some little AI object recognition and steering logic.
Anti-tamper systems are obviously pretty simple.
You don't need reliable radio to check a txn on the blockchain, they provide the data to you (like with a phone app or something), and you can validate it offline by checking that the proof of work is there.
The person who drops it has very little risk of getting caught, just throw it in a ditch, few days later it takes off and grabs someone...
If you can build something for 1k and it makes 1mn in ransom, that's an extremely lucrative proposition...
