@DC5FAN @suquili @Terry @RoninGrey I would presume they'd go in by land from a neighboring state but we haven't invaded another country in full combat since Iraq which was so long ago that it might as well be considered an entirely different era tehnologically

@deprecated_ii @Homosoypiens @DC5FAN @RoninGrey @Terry @suquili There will be no ground invasion. The US and allies spent months building up forces for the Gulf War. You do not invade a country without a long military build up before-hand, especially not one an ocean away.

It's not entirely stated properly how much the military has shifted into a COIN role and small scale expeditionary force since the Iraq invasion. The fleet lacks the oilers and supply ships to pull off another big invasion.

that said as a counterpoint to history legends predictions. Trump already wasted the internal Iranian dissidents that would make such a military destruction campaign viable. after all after the revolutionary hardliners die, A government cant really be toppled by internal factors while a foreign power is threating it
