If Iran can stay offensively viable long enough to keep the strait shut down, they don't really have to "win" in the traditional sense. Just create a giant money hole, bloody it up with some US noncoms if you can, and dig in. I personally think they've got a halfway decent chance to do that, Tehran gonna get buttfucked along the way, but that doesn't really do shit but make smoke. The oil fleet is the main objective
