@EscapeVelo I had one of those- my only real complaint(s) were that the rudder wasn't very intuitive in any of the games I played using it (& flight sim), and the old-ass interface was already outdated in 2001, making it troublesome to get going in WinXP.

I use these with my Vintage PCs to play vintage games. So it works quite well on Win98, Win 3.1 and DOS 5.0.

For a hot second I thought you were talking about the old A-37

The 38 I flew at UPT had a castle switch on the upper right side of the stick next to the trim hat to control an MFD they retrofitted into the jet. We still had some trainers back in the 2010's that had the older legacy cockpit but I never qual'd on one of those
