I think it was around 15 years ago but definitely after the 2008 financial crisis that boomers just did a 180 and started telling White kids that college was stupid and they should learn a trade instead.

This is after spending the last 30 years preaching college as the only way you can get anywhere in life.

You're literally going to be working at Mcdonalds for the rest of your life if you don't go to college. Thats what they told us.

nah, some people are unironically doing payday shit with "buy now pay later" and the courts are just not calling what it is because its all the "middle class" economy

nobody who makes $70,000 is consistently eating $28 lunches unless they have to or they live and work in a place like new york where you can't go out for a bite to eat without getting raped.
