Odinist, Norse Pagan, Germanic Heathen, Asatru, it's all the same really. As Christians today have to admit to their chragin about fakes and insurrectionists among their ranks, I too must acknowledge the same about Germanic Heathenry. Yes, I am fully aware of those fat fucks or pick-me chicks wearing a Thor's hammer and claiming to be part of the faith while simultaneously being faggots and globo- consumerists. You see more of them than you find actual practitioners.
Would I rather all Germanic descended Folk return to the traditions of our ancestors? Absolutely. Am I about to attack them for being Christian instead? Not at all. Europe was Christian for over a thousand years, and even if the violence of conversion were commonly known, Christianity is still too deeply ingrained in the collective cultural psyche to remove it without causing undue damage that would lead to our death. Look what happened since the 1960s when people were simply led away from it into self-indulgence. Imagine how much worse it would get if every last shred of it were gone.
So, as a result, I usually post that meme showing the templar and the Jomsviking facing down the horde of faggots and niggers, saying "Together" because we have much bigger fish to fry than arguing over religion. Besides, nothing says Jesus wouldn't enjoy a good horn of mead.

To a point, yes, Christianity did very much adapt itself to European thought. However, Europe is not the only place where the religion was brought, and each culture adapted it to their own worldview. Take Santeria, for example, or Nigerian Christianity.
