@Bunsen @sun I'm talking more as someone who tends to have more neutral views than others and read a lot of news but I think it can be saved but not without hitting the ground hard.

Considering how's the world is going, I wouldn't be surprised if the globe faced a massive economic crysis. While I hope isn't bad as the great depression or WW2, I don't think it will be a good one.

IMO 90% of the modern problems is that Politicians and the Elite stopped to work for the people or for respect and it's now working for money while feeling invincible/untouchable.

This is something that happened before many times on a lot of countries, like Rome, France, China, Japan and more but most of the times it wasn't without heavy violence.

A good modern example without a civil war is San Salvador but those are a dime a dozen.

I can see US and the world being fixed but not without violence from a "crazy" politician, with a some kind of civil war or with people showing that they're not untouchable(like more Luigi Magione)
