If your fedi post gets more than 12 likes, it is more successful than half of books published my major publishers.

12I have over 10,000 physical paper books in print. That sounds like chicken feed, but remember that I had no editor, no agent, no marketing, no publishing house. It’s just me and Amazon print on demand.
And that's the population who writes and gets published afaict.
There's probably some outsider brilliance to be found but publishers aren't interested in unsolicited manuscripts, just the way it is. Your best chance as a non-credentialed genius is probably self publish and then astroturf some social media buzz
best part: "over 30 trade worker polycule, extra tropes" this person is a literal retard. also just feed all your idiotic requirements into chatgpt and have it shit out a book, that is the logical conclusion of this
I'd recommend reading Devon Eriksen on Twitter and how he handled publishing. He tried taking his sci-fi book to a traditional publisher, who wanted stupid changes. He said screw that and self-published Theft of Fire. It's _very_ entertaining sci-fi and he seems to have been successful selling it and making money. I bought the hardcover and even bought a copy for a friend "you gotta read this".
