I actually wonder how badly this is going to fuck up Dubai and the UAE. Arabs are incapable of organising a high level society and whites are not going to hang around if there are potential bomb drops or drone strikes for months on end regardless of how low they keep the taxes.
Their tourism industry was already seeing dire consequences more than a month ago. I wonder how much stomach for the fight these Emiratis actually have?

It wasn't even "a port city" more like a bunch of hovels and streets on the coast. Before the Europeans made the Arabs rich most of the Middle East looked like this.
About 90% of Dubai's population is foreigners. When the money dries up, they'll skedaddle back to whatever rock they came from (well except for the migrant workers who are technically slaves but not legally slaves)
