i have one friend (male) that smokes cigarettes without filters, does a myriad of harder drugs, eats processed meat
BUT
avoids microplastics like the plague

@twinspin6 @kaia yes, it's just about not wanting near boiling water to flow through food grade plastic tubing.
i guess you could argue that machines without it have a longer lifetime but also the plastic tubing wouldn't be a great pain to repair..

@twinspin6 @kaia food grade means that there wont be any harmful chemicals oozing out at high temps as well as the plastic being sturdy enough to handle it.
microplastics are just a part of life with anything plastic
