@graf I scroll and decide to view something So I do Then I go back to my timeline where I was, but nope now I have a fully refreshed timeline instea
@wecanfixthis this has literally always been an issue on that front end. for 5 years. it never got fixed. the beta frontend doesn't have this bug

@wecanfixthis there was no upgrade? I didn't even touch user-facing components other than your ability to delete chats which wasnt even related to this either. it was all admin shit.

@wecanfixthis yea I just loaded up the timeline and scrolled down for solid minute, clicked a post and clicked back on the post and i was still in the same position. try clearing cache or something because I 100% cant replicate this issue at all
@graf @wecanfixthis is your session storage storing things? it looks like timeline is stored in this variable (at least on desktop on the non-beta version)
@brigrammer @graf I appreciate your attempts here. I'll try on another device, but I doubt it changes anything. The common denominator here is that the site had an update that caused this. Im on this site daily. That is probably the issue
