@mushroom_soup I don't get this ballroom thing. He doesn't have much time left in the White House and can't run again. He can't declare martial law because he's too old to be a dictator. How does he benefit from it?

@technolyze @redneonglow @mushroom_soup there was a lawsuit and it was going to come out anyway so trump announced it at that point
@sun @redneonglow @mushroom_soup are you talking about this? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c07555m4710o the white house announced it themselves on September 2025, that lawsuit didnt take place until December of 2025

@technolyze @redneonglow @mushroom_soup Trump did a press conference after the lawsuit with the first public admission that there was a new nuclear bunker under there. the ballroom wasn't secret of course
@sun @redneonglow @mushroom_soup i feel like he greatly fumbled the entire thing if he wanted a secret bunker. Seems fairly obvious it might entice some people.
@technolyze @redneonglow @mushroom_soup Basically I don't think it's possible to even do secret projects like that anymore, in particular a foreign government like Russia is going to find out before Americans do anyway, which is the only point of keeping it secret
