I love how work code has three different and mutually incompatible APIs for a trivial key-value store, all of which have different naming and argument order conventions and are heavily used in the codebase with conversions between the formats done on an ad-hoc basis in multiple places

Ideal tool would be something that can do AST-level code transformations but as far as I can tell such a thing doesn't exist for C++ despite tree-sitter and clang both doing the heavy lifting
