My friend hosts a discord gaming tournament every few months and we were doing the Nintendo DS this time. He usually tries to find lesser known games, and this time we played this one game that is called "Project Rub". It was made by SEGA AND SONIC TEAM and is wild. The joke is that in Japanese, "love" and "rub" sound the same, and the DS allowed you to "rub" the screen.
So many jokes. I'm sure your head is full of them right now. It was hilarious. But what's funnier is that the game is actually pretty fun. It's basically a bunch of mini games and the goal is to I guess "Woo" a woman by winning them?
Also, despite the jokes that can be made, the game apparently wasn't really intended to be too sexual and the development team was actually mostly women, which I think is pretty cool especially for 2005.
