I kinda feel like that with the everlasting mammoth meatball cloned from the dna of a real mammoth. Imagine you're that mammoth in the afterlife and you can't move on because some scientists have put your soul in statis to clone meatballs. Holy fuck.

@Velveteen I'm sorry, but what in the actual fuck did I miss from being offline for a week? Did I hit my head and get Life On Marsed into an episode of Black fucking Mirror? Most stuff that people say is "just like in Black Mirror" is because Charlie Goddamn Brooker is a hack (affectionate) who just writes stories about the world as it already exists and puts a sheen of Rule of Cool on it. This, though? Jesus fucking christ humans are not viable as a social species. We are clearly a bunch of psychopaths, not just the people torturing the digital ghost of a fly, but the scientists who made it possible. Who the shit looks at the internet as it exists in 2026 and says "yes, lets give these fuckers a brain to torture" jesus bloody nora. I don't even want to think about where this technology will be going in the next decade, but please do not let this overwrought rant distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.
