@WandererUber @SoylentGroyper @nugger i can't think of any that assemble as a 2 story unit and Im not sure HUD code allows for this. You would have a very narrow structure. There would also be a question of what to do with the second floor frame. In normal manufactured home construction the steel floor frame also serves as the transport conveyance.

Fun fact, german government construction projects for housing apparently need to have the kitchen as its own thing with a door (that is fairly common as well) because muslims say the women need a separated place for their stuff.

I've heard that a few years ago from an architect working working on a govt housing project, when she questioned why putting a door in the kitchen since that could make it cheaper.

@wizardmanperson @SoylentGroyper @WandererUber @nugger the reason for the weird layout is that the outside dimensions are 16x53 feet, which is the maximum that most states will give a roadway overwidth load permit without requiring engineering and route survey.
