@hfaust why would I buy this over a regular DS or 3DS? Because it runs Linux? Emulation for most consoles beyond the 4th home console generation is shoddy and/or insufficient at best (likewise for anything past the DS/PSP for handhelds), and most of that can be emulated on a Vita or a 3DS anyway.

What I would like is something more portable. I have lots in my pockets, and a chunky 3DSXL wannabe is not comfy enough to lug around. What is? A 3DS. A DS lite. A GBASP. Give me something those sizes with all the bells and whistles PLUS a native OS/BIOS and we'll talk.

@nine2fivestudio 3DS prices are insane right now, unless you find a tweaker who is selling it for pennies, most systems are >$120 USD.

Beyond retrogaming, there's the availability of Portmaster to run modern games on those devices and also the upcoming barrage of native "ports" like Super Mario 64 and A Link To The Past that run natively.
@hfaust those native ports are nice, but those only really happen to mainstream stuff. I doubt we'll get a decomp and native port of, say, Brave Fencer Musashi or The Guardian Legend anytime soon. I hope I'm proven wrong.

Also, I never sold my consoles back for pennies toward NewConsole(TM) like a retard. I got burned with that early on and learned my lesson. I still have my first 3DS as well and ones I have bought second-hand from friends.
@nine2fivestudio @hfaust Agree with the sentiment. I bought a Miyoo Mini Flip and that thing is so fucking tiny I bet I could smuggle it into prison by shoving it into my asshole if the need arises. I don't care much for the super chonkers a lot of companies seem to be releasing (especially if they have an all-glass front, who the fuck thought that was a good idea, I want to kill John Apple for being a bad influence).
