Credential inflation is completely institutionalized in the American military and federal government. Members are expected, nay, coerced into getting a ton of mostly useless credentials and only for the sake of adding bullet points to promotion evaluations.

Sounds about right. I never trusted the ones with all the titles and certs. Anybody can fall ass backwards through a credentialing system.

This is true, I got certified in a bunch of support equipment that the Navy didn't even have anymore for this purpose.
