@mangeurdenuage it's a reason why I can't go to your profile to look at your posts until hj integrates a "don't show pinned posts" switch
@mangeurdenuage @kaia @hj Did this ages ago:
https://gitgud.io/ryonagency/pleroma-fe/-/commit/58114a67d36b13f72b562c812627b16d61326574
Later disabled fetching them in backend, too, since every time some new mastofag federates, entire TWKN gets spammed with some 1/999 pinned thread:
https://gitgud.io/ryonagency/pleroma/-/commit/3815e785176e2f5f3361b4739fab6a65e2dfb3b8
I think pin activities from followed users still federate but that's not my problem. Switched to bloat as main frontend since then and it doesn't handle pinned posts to begin with.

@mint @kaia @mangeurdenuage this is global tho, hide all posts, kaia (i assume) wants it on per-user basis.

@hj @mint @mangeurdenuage I also wouldn't mind a global switch, but maybe a separate pinned posts tab would make more sense anyway?
@kaia @mint @mangeurdenuage i think for most instances limit of pinned posts is 1 (default in pleroma) so there's very little reason for separate tab.
better idea would be to have a button up top "collapse pinned posts" or something, or scroll below pinned posts
