pretty impressed by fediverse, the technology is cool and there's a nice social atmosphere. seems like most instances are either libtards, heavily /pol/-influenced, or pedos though. would be nice to see less uniformity

@cassidyclown like I want to politicspost, but I'm not a fan of people setting things off limits. I will 100% get banned for criticizing jews or LGBT or something if I go on one of the normie instances, but get the feeling people in the "free speech zone" are going to sperg out at me for appreciating juche or not being racist

@exis7enz consequences of being banned on all other forms of social media - there are people with nuanced positions that will hear you out but yes a lot of retards will just dogpile. Having lots of different instances where different "cultures" can be nurtured does alleviate that somewhat. Unfortunately just about all the "grey fedi" instances are extremely gay - I only say "unfortunately" because there should be more variety.
