@rowb1t @nyx @lain kind of fucked up bad the other day when I was fantasizing abt moving to china with my girl-cadre and my mom awkwardly mentioned 'yea, move to the place that violates human rights' and I basically replied 'yea mayb but the transit is really good there and they have a lot of stuff under control there like cutting off covid spread in the country super quickly'.

so instead of actually challenging the human rights concerns (because that seems hyperbolic) I made the closet tankie equivalent of 'trains running on time' but my mom does even realize thats what I am. so its like my mom might now think I want to unironically move to fascist china because im social fascist or something?
