@Brahvim @Erpel @prettygood Yes, and you define who can do what on post creation. And if the post doesn't have any of that information, Mastodon treats it as unqoutable for some reason.

@phnt @Erpel @prettygood I guess it's to allow those posts to define permissions *later.* Makes total sense, we don't want people to ALWAYS have access simply because their Fediverse client isn't using a permissions system, do we?
